Not a lot of choices, just a place to satisfy hunger. IPA ale was very good and reasonably priced. They have a wonderful selection of brews. Pam my server was attentive and friendly. The citys population was 92,452 according to 2018 estimates. It is the largest city in Western North Carolina, and the 12th-most populous city in the U.S. Plank Salmon with brocolini was fabulous! Cous cous was a bit undercooked, but when your hungry, everything tastes good. The cheapest way to get from Harrahs Cherokee to Asheville costs only 11, and the quickest way takes just 1 hour.

Unfortunately, a power failure hosed up Brio’s computers and they were unable to seat anyone. Time to play at Harrah's Cherokee Casino in Cherokee which is located in western North Carolina.One of our must do's at Harrah's is eating at Earl of Sandwic. I went to Brio and the expected wait time was 20 minutes. I was unable to find an available reservation online using Open Table. No smoking in the casino is definitely a breath of fresh air! Having dinner was challenging. Masks are required but very little social distancing. the casino is very large and was quite crowded. From Thursday, May 4, until Monday, May 15, the WSOP will call the city of Cherokee home and the poker room at Harrah’s Casino its place of work. View was terrible, but what do you expect for a comp. The WSOP began in late July of 2022 at Choctaw Durant in Oklahoma and will finish in late May of this year at Caesars Southern Indiana in Elizabeth, Indiana. The Museum of the Cherokee Indian is a must see if visiting the area, especially if losing too much money gambling! Also go to one of the bonfires during the week.
